mouse click wont open certain links

I cannot click on links in my email or sublinks on yahoo. I click on them and nothing happens. Can anyone help?

 

a little more info might help. are the links supposed to open new browser windows? do you have a pop-up blocker installed, or yahoo/google toolbar?

 

Is the email downloaded to your computer or is it webmail? If downloaded, what email client are you using and what security software?

 

Yes links are suppose to open new window and did up until a couple of weeks ago. I dont know what has changed. I thought it might have been the software for my cordless keyboard and mouse but I re downloaded them and its still the same. I have windows XP. I dont know if that helps you or not but Im kind of ignorant when it comes to this kind of stuff
