   How do I configure my video and or mouse driver, to make my mouse function on the desktop, through which it is connected... ,
   
   ... and the laptop, which gets connected at the end of each day, for file transfer, through an ethernet connection?
   
   
   I know it's possible. What I don't want to know, is that I'll have to write my own programs...
