mouse issues

I got one for my fellow geeks to figure out.

Every once in a while, my mouse decides that a single click is actually a double click to it. This will go on for a while, then it will revert back to normal. It is a MX1000 Logitech mouse and the drivers/everything are up to date.

this has become quite annoying so any ideas would be helpful

My advice is to do what I did, dont bother worrying and go and watch Ghost in the Shell instead. Ahh Logitech you are so :*** useless
