Mouse Pointer Driving me Crazy

    A few months ago I flashed my BIOS, i learned my lesson, and right after when ever my computer starts up my Mouse Pointer has the "working in background" insignia, but nothing is going on and the little circle doesn't move.

    When i go to Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization click on Mouse Pointers and hit OK when the Mouse Properties pops up, and it looks normal until I restart my laptop.

    Any ideas for a permanent fix?
