Mouse Won't Stop Double Clicking!

I have a problem with my mouse (and every other mouse I've bought in the hope of solving the problem)... Every time I left click on something it double clicks instead. For example, when I click the back button on my browser it goes back 2 pages instead of 1. As you can probably tell, this is extremely frustrating and I'd appreciate any help in figuring out the problem. I know it isn't the mouse itself because like I said above, I've bought a few mice now and every one has had the same problem.

Hi Hasan,

I would appreciate a lot if you could share how you managed to fix your mouse related problem. Currently I'm running through the same problem. My mouse double clicks everytime I try a single click. The same mouse works fine with other computers while I face the same problem with other mouse in this computer. I have already kept the double-click speed on the slower side. Here's my computer's configuration:

* Windows 7 Ultimate
* 64 Bit Operating System
* 3 GB RAM
