Hi, I was just wondering if this would work. I am installing a bigger hard drive in a notebook that is 3 yrs old. It has a recovery partition. Is it possible to put in the blank new drive, Boot with UBCD4Win and create a new partition same size as the recovery partition on the old drive, then copy the recovery image to it from the old drive connected via usb drive adapter. Then remove old drive and boot up with xp cd and reinstall xp
fom it? I hate reinstalling from cd then trying to hunt down all the drivers, we don't have the drivers cd anymore. Or is there a easier way? :confused
