Movie Maker file and Power Point

    Hi all

    I am arranging a PowerPoint presentation and need to trim a video for it. Tried Movie Maker, but only option I have to save video is MM's wmlp format, that is not recognized by PP or anything else.

    I need advice on 2 questions:

    1. convert to a "normal" format?
    2. any realistically working f/w out there, even on a trial basis, that will allow me to trim video and insert it into PP presentation?
