'Movie Pass' adware??

Does anyone know how to remove "MoviePass"? It keeps coming up telling me I owe them money, now that my 3 day pass expired.

I did not install this, & my son swears he didn't either (we are the only 2 users on htis pc). They state, regardless of who installed it I am still responsible.
There is no phone no. where I can contact these people. They threaten to contact collection agency if not paid. When I clicked on pay by phone,( in hopes of getting a phone no.) it said to give this code no. & it would be billed to my phone bill. That made me very suspicious.

I called my computer friend & he said it was sometype of adware that got installed by viewing something else.

Can anyone help me get rid of this??

Just, before your post, I downloaded "Avira" antivirus, which i read about on your site. Since then I have not had a pop up from Moviepass. So hopefully that took care of it for good.

I did not run what you suggested, since the pop up seems to be gone, plus I'm not too sure of my pc savvy.
