moving pagefile&shadow copies to different disk

i'd like to move my pagefile (vm swap file) and shadow copies to a different disk. anyone know how? might be in registry somewhere

for pagefile, on my vista hp sp1 32b, the control panel is almost there:
system cpl, advanced tab (or in left margin list of actions), under performance click settings, advanced tab again, under virtual memory click button change... allows me to resize the pagefile, but does not allow me to place it on a different disk. [general computer wisdom teaches that it's helps performance, lowers thrashing, by putting the pagefile on a different disk from usual, like my c: system&boot&applications&data, preferably on fastest disk]

same thing for shadow copies. my event log is full of errors, deleting all shadow copies because can't get enough space quickly enough. it recommends [and same widsom above suggests] moving shadow copy storage to a different disk. the closest i find to doing this is much like pagefile above:
cmd> vssadmin add shadowstorage /for=c: /on=t: /maxsize=10gb
would do it but it seems they have disabled this on vista sp1. it's my computer. i wanna do it! lol vssadmin list and changing maxsize works. it's just changing to another storage location/volume that doesn't.

probably both are in the registry somewhere. ? any help?

I don't see why you can't.

I just placed the page file on a drive I use for backups and data I don't use often.

I hadn't given the shadow volume copy any thought as it hasn't given me much trouble before.

This is from Win7 RC1, don't have Vista.

Good luck with the Shadow Copy, never played with the settings for it.
