Mozilla Plans Move To 64-bit Firefox Default Install For 64-bit Windows

This is an interesting surprise from Mozilla.
Just recently I switched from 32-bit ESR to 64-bit ESR and so far I like it. Haven't had any problems.
I have used Cyberfox and Pale Moon 64-bit versions which have been available for some time, but the official stable 64-bit Firefox is less than a year from its initial release.

Upgrading from 32-bit to 64-bit is very easy and downgrading from 64 to 32 follows the same process.

There is an other major change in Firefox that has just begun to be released.
It's a muti-process architecture known as Electrolysis that begins with separating the User Interface and Content process.
A few people now using Firefox 48 already have this first stage.
