Just downloaded Mozilla for the first time today....Oh my god how did I overlook this baby for so long? Smarter, more reliable and actaully noticably quicker than IE on my machine. The little things like a built in pop up killer etc are also v. handy.

It's almost a bit.....too good. There must be a downside somewhere.

Any users out there with thoughts?....

    Been Mozilla for ages.
Downside is the MS only sites and things like MS update. Then you have to put up with being owned by MS for a while.
Just make Mozilla your primary browser and get the plugins to feel like you have some control while surfing the net. No popups, cookies any way you like them, etc.

I use Mozilla once in awhile... mainly for JavaScript debugging. But Mozilla is bloated, so I'm waiting for Firebird to get integrated in over the next six odd months.

I've been wanting to try Mozilla for quite some time, but I am in such a comfort zone with IE6.

I also have TONNES (like that European spelling?:D ) of bookmarks that I use.
Can they be imported into Mozilla or Opera?

    Thanks

Yup - I believe that your favourites are automatically imported into Mozilla every time you start it up - theres an option somewhere in the main toolbar.

Not so sure about Opera though. I did actually download it, but tried and failed to install - I'm not quite sure why, it just crashes out. If you manage to crack it, let me know what you think, although I'm sceptical it can be much better than Moz.

Yea, I like Mozilla - it's a pretty ok browser. I wasn't fond of Opera, but maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance. Someone mentioned a comfort zone - and since I used Netscape through 4.7 - I was pretty used to all I saw in Mozilla.

Haven't looked at Firebird yet - don't even know how buggy it is.

To be honest, I use IE most of the time - but I check my pages in Mozilla sometimes, then end up browsin for a few hours.
