MP3 Direct Cut (MP3DC213) invalid directory

Hi, I'm new so please be kind

I'm having trouble with MP3DC213 which won't create a new directory - keeps telling me to check for an invalid character.

It wants to extract to Program Files (x86), so I tried redirecting to Program Files, but it still complains.

Any help will be appreciated.

MP3 Directcut is a 32 bit program, so it will by default in the Program Files(x86) folder with the other 32 bit programs. The Program Files folder is for 64 bit programs only.

It wouldn't create in (x86) :confused which is why I tried to redirect it.

 

Run the installer as an administrator. Your account may not have the permissions necessary to write anything to that folder.

 

I've just had a poke around and it seems I've successfully put Firefox and Thunderbird in there, so I have no idea why Direct Cut should give me trouble.

Running something as an administrator sounds like a job for my son.:-o
