Hi, I’m thinking of reinstalling windows 7 but I’m not sure how I can reinstall MS office2011. My OEM copy of MS Office came with my PC pre-loaded, I just clicked an Icon to install it. It came with no installation disc or Key, but an application could be used to back up office installation files and other preloaded apps onto a DVD. I’ve attempted a test reinstall, the automated reinstall didn’t work properly, but I could manually reinstall by clicking on a batch file after manually copying the files to the correct folder in \ProgramData\Microsoft. However, the install command line window complains that the prepaid RTC code can’t be found in the registry. A little digging uncovers the correct registry entry is supposed to be found at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\officesoftwareprotectionplatform. There are lots of entries at this point, including one for plugins, I'm not sure which are the correct ones.

My questions are, if I were to put back these registry entries after making a clean install of MS Windows 7, could I reinstall MS Office, or is it simply not possible to reinstall an OEM copy? Also, what does RTC in RTC code mean, does it mean real time clock? Many Thanks
