MSE Antivirus Error Code: 0x80070424

    security essentials gives me nothing but this error code (0x80070424) after son downloads random programs that Had plenty of malware and adware piggybacking. Please Help.

    Ive attached the frst.text file for details on whats going on. a Fix list would be so very greatly appreciated. :-o

    Welcome to MajorGeeks, badazreaper :)

    [​IMG] Boot to System Recovery Options and run FRST again.
    Type the below bolded text in the edit box after "Search:".

    services.exe

    Then click the Search button.

    It will make a log (Search.txt) on the flash drive. Please attach this log to your next reply. (How to attach)

    OK, sorry it took me so long. Thank you for the friendly welcome and its nice to meet you. :) I appreciate you helping me, I attached the services list. Im almost certain that's were this tricky malware is lingering, I also attached a image of what comodo firewall doesn't like. PS. Comodo may not like them but it cant handle them and tries to sell you geekbuddy like usual. :p

    NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

    Attached is fixlist.txt
    • Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.

    Now re-enter System Recovery Options.
    Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
    Please attach this to your next message. (How to attach)

    Now attempt to boot normally and attach the Fixlog.txt for analysis.

    thank you so very much thisisu but MSE still isn't wanting to run. Seems i have a annoying redirecter as well. :-o I attached the fix log.

    thank you, That helped greatly on getting rid of the redirection. Any ideas on the MSE? maybe uninstall and reinstall?
