msi k8n neo-fsr v2.0 Board

Hi,fellow geeks.

I have a small problem which i hope i can get some help with.
Ive put togeather a new computer but the thing is it wont restart, when you start the computer, you can play all day no prob's but if you download somthing that has to restart to install it wont', you have to turn the computer off and on then evrything is ok .also if you push the restart the same happens. first the bios then it hangs, you could say if every thing works, forget the restart but its there so i would like to make use of it.

do you still have your boot order in the bios set to cdrom first



does your virus protection have a setting that might not be letting outside progams from restarting your pc?

and do you have quick boot set in the bios

Thankyou for your reply ,im sorry it took so long to get back WERK you know.
OK the boot order harddisk Cd floopy
no antivirus running.
quick boot engaged.
The problem is still there, wont reboot even after disk control just hangs,
by the way the board is k8n neo-v2.0 nd not fsr like I first said.
