Msn keeps signing out

Anyone know how to solve the problem of msn signing out every 30 seconds? My LAN connection keeps resetting itself with the bubble at the bottom right corner of my screen saying:

"Local Area Connection 2 is now Connected"

I've re-installed msn messenger, and ran CCleaner...what else can I do to get a stable internet connection? It was fine two days ago!

i had this same problem a long time ago. my ISP is AOL. or ( aohell as some call it) and it was caused by a connectivity issue between AOL and XPSP2. by any chance is you'r ISP AOL aswell? just a long shot but thought i would ask...

 

Actually no, I'm using videotron. But now that you mention it, I think I'll call them up and ask them if they're having problems.
