Alright, I no idea what the problem is. I have 16 instances of Rundll32.exe and 6 instances of SVChost.exe (only capitalized because it is commonly mistaken for sCvhost.exe) running simultaniously, and this is slowing down performance drastically. Anything and everything is affected by this. From music playing, videos, opening programs. Explorer and firefox crash very often, Yahoo! Messenger freezes when i close an IM box. I know its probably time to format, but I want to be stubborn and figure out what the hell is wrong.

    I am running a Dell M1530
    Vista Home Premium
    2.0 Ghz Dual Core Centrino
    4 Gigs of ram
    Nvidia Geforce 7600

I have ran the following and found nothing:

Adaware, Zonealarm, Spybot, AVG, Panda, Symantec.

Not sure why I am not picking anything up, i KNOW this is either malware or virus caused, just cannot figure it out.

I do have a Hijack this log already saved, but i just saw the thread that said dont post those.

So, i hope you guys can assist me!

PS I had to effin laugh when i saw the logo "Geek til it MHZ", it made me chuckle!

    Alright guys, take care!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
