Multiple monitors..

Hey gang!
I've got a nvidia 6600GT card that I run 2 monitors on (dualview). It runs in the AGP slot. I have another monitor that I want to add and I have a PCI
nvidia TNT (cheapie) card that I bought to run it.....How's the set up?
Will I need other drivers? Will it take over as the default monitor?
I have my good monitor set as default now with a second monitor both running on the one card. I use the setup for flight sim because I can put instruments on the other monitor instead of opening and closing them on the main one.

I've never tried this, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

The only problem I foresee is that maybe the TNT card requires different drivers?

Check the nVidia site and see if they all use the same driver package.

 

OK.Checked nvidia site and the drivers seem to be the same.
How about a few hints on how to set it all up? Thanks!

Just install PCI card and boot up
should install new card
go to control panel
display
settings
click on third monitor
click on the box that says " extend my windows desktop onto this monitor"
Apply
OK

 

If you are using XP, see if THIS helps, although there really isn't much to it.
