Multipule addresses

Hello again.

I'm having prob's (again). My wireless connection is messing me around.

Do you know how I can remove the hidden net adapters that become redundant after setting up a new connection.

I goto:
Control Panel > System > Hardware > Dev. Mngr > Tab/view/Show hidden.
It gives me a whole list of adapter's but I keep getting told they are needed to boot.

I remove the wireless I don't use (Atheros) but the Railink that I DO USE keeps on going UP incrementally 1-2-3-4-5-6-7... 15.
I can't use the manual address I used earlier today, I keep getting static's telling me the address is already in use. Grrrrrrrr.

I've kinda' resolved the matter. It's working again, but the adapter count is now "18"... rolleyes

How can I remove the previous adapter's so I'm back to "1"? :confused
