musicmatch mp3

Check this out: A couple mp3's I have show at zero minutes, zero seconds and will not play in Musicmatch. These same mp3's play fine in Win Media Player and Real Player. Musicmatch plays all other mp3's fine. What do you think?

 

Perhaps something to do with DRM? Did you ummm, download these from the internet, or did you make the mp3 from a music store (offline/IRL). ?

 

It was some time ago. It was either off of a CD to my hard drive, or was emailed to me by a friend. What is DRM? Can it be fixed?

DRM = Digital Rights Management. It can't be fixed. It is embeded within the MP3 itself.

But, your situation might be different.

Will Play:

Windows Media Player
Real Player

Won't Play:

MusicMatch

Is MusicMatch the "latest and greatest" version?

Does winamp play the MP3?

If so, then perhaps musicmatch is missing a particular codec embeded within the mp3 file.
