- Removed program name followed by link for a simpler, one word clickable link
- Removed 4 or 5 programs that are not as effective as they used to be.
- Added new 12+ new programs in various categories.
- Kissed Sailors butt and made some changes

One question about the Rootkit section.

Did you consider raising the level to Intermediate for Gmer?

It's a little more involved than just the " Push Start, to start the scan now" type of program.

 

Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall 4 can run in a free mode vs. a full (paid) mode. Install it now, and for the first 30 days it will run in 'full' mode. After that, it shuts down selected features, but will continue to run in 'free' mode".

No need for any more kissin but how about adding a "monitoring" section, where you would list PCalert, Speedfan, Simple-eye and such stuf?

 

I was just comparing the registery cleaners and noticed that the link to RegCleaner didn't seem to workrolleyes

 

Just wondering if there is any reason why MGs' have no links to Download managers ?

Since I only have dial-up, Flashget is one of the most useful programs I have on my PC (OS & a few other progs come in handy to )

I don't know if you saw this MA. It shows a 404 Not Found error, when linking from 'top freewarepicks section' on my PC

 

Just a suggestion, for consideration.

Maybe, how about a additional (separate) straight Alpha listing link, with a brief explanation of each program for those who can do without categories and sub-categories?

With 1, 2 or 3 upright grenades to show levels of difficulty.
Current "different" colours are not always easily distinguished on monitors, or printouts.
