My computer has been hijacked and i dont know what to do :(

Hey,

I don't really know too much about this problem but i have read some stuff so hopefully give you enough info. Everytime i load an internet page it diverts straight to www.safetydefender.com - it just wont go away no matter how many times i scan and delete threats.

Based on other threads i have run one of those hijackthis scan things, but i have no idea what it means and i dont want to delete stuff i shouldnt! I dont know if it will show a prob, but help would be greatly appreciated - or any more suggestions.

Hopefully the file has attached, i havent done this bafore as you can tell.

Please do not post HijackThis logs without running our standard cleaning procedures as the sticky threads request. (see: READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support )

For your problem, you just need to run the below (also a sticky thread):

You do have other issues too but you need to run the READ & RUN ME to work on them.
