my mouse jumps once in a while

hey guys, i have a new computer and a laser mouse. i used laser mice before and it happnd to me before too. once in a while my pointer will jump across the screen and that's really annoying whn i am in a game like counter strike. I have the latest divers for it and i dont really know whats wrong? any way to fix iT?

Also my computer is scanned for no adware or spyware or virus....

 

If your computer has been scanned for Spyware & Viruses and the scans have came up clean. Then you probably need to be in the software or hardware forum.
