My Network Places in XP - cannot remove 2 files?

I am trying to find out why I have 2 files showing in My Network places?
I Go to MY NETWORK PLACES, The Internet and showing are icon 1 : Docs on www.rcgp.org.uk
Icon 2: Homepages on www.hhs.csus.edu.
I cannot delete them by right clicking on icons and every time I try to open them (to see what they are) the system freezes.

Is this connected to the problems I have been having with my Internet Connection freezing? I have already run through Malware possibilities with Chaslang (none found) and other solutions with Mada Milty.
