my optical drives are not seen

    i purchased a new hard drive 500 gig and took out some smaller ones and in there place i installed dvd burners so when i use alchohol 120 i can make 4 copies but my computer reads only one dvd burner.allthe drivers are installed from thje motherboard cd it a new xp seems to be workin fine i just need help properly gettin these drives to operate any sugestions.jim

    Have you checked Device manager for any errors?

    Are they even listed there?

    Because if they aren't, I suspect a lose data cable (IDE Ribbon cable or SATA cable, depending on connection type), or misconfigured jumper.
