OK, so I've done all that was stated in the "Read and Run First" sticky, but for some reason I can't seem to get rid of this My Way thing. When I go to Add/Remove programs, it doesn't even give me an option to delete it. Can someone help me remove this or is it even necessary? Does it hurt to have it on my computer, because I don't even know what it is or how it got here. I'm attaching the files that are requested with exception to the AVG Antispyware log. It told me there wasn't a report available when running AVG.
Thanks in advance to any help that can be given.

I know I'm not supposed to bump this, but it's been three days since I first posted and was just thinking maybe it was overlooked. If not, I apologize for the bump. I was just hoping maybe someone could take a look and give me some type of idea what's going on with the My Way Search thing.

    Thanks,
    Spike

What makes you think you have My Way Search Assistant installed? No signs of it show in any of your logs. If you are seeing it in a scan, attach a log that shows what is being found and where.

You do however need to uninstall the below old Java Versions:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03
    Java(TM) 6 Update 2
    Java(TM) 6 Update 3
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1

Make sure you reboot after uninstalling the above!

After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

I guess I just assumed(incorrectly) that it was installed because it still shows in my Add/Remove programs, yet there is nothing to click on to remove it. If you say it isn't installed on my machine then that's good enough for me!:)
Is there a special way I should go about uninstalling these Java things? Any certain place I should go to do this?
Also, after all of this is done and I am back up and running again should I change the hidden files and folders back to the default, or is that even important? Thank you!

    Same as usual....via Add/Remove Programs.

It's your decision in the end how you like to see things or not see them on your PC. Personally my opinion is I don't want to give malware an easy hiding place.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used ComboFix then UNINSTALL COMBOFIX (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN
      • Now type combofix /u in the runbox and click OK.
      • Note: The space between the X and the /U, it must be there.
    2. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    3. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    4. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    5. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
