A friend was rummaging thru his stock-o-CDs and came across a burned disc with no writing on it. He popped it in the PC and the big blue WinXP window opened. In 'My Computer' it comes up as WXPCCP_EN. It's obviously WinXP Pro in English, but what is the CCP? How can he tell if it's a full version or upgrade? He's got no recollection of this disc whatsoever or where it came from or how he got it..... I told him it doesn't matter 'cuz it's a bootlegged CD and if it's not a copy of his original install CD, then he probably shouldn't use it, and without a key, he wouldn't get far anyway....
So, how do we ID this disc to see if he can legally use it with the key sticker on his PC?
