NASA world wind

okay guys here is problem number 3.

i have just downloaded nasa world wind, directx, and net framework.

i have also downloaded a boatload of cache packs (4.92 gigabytes)

the question i have is "will installing these cache packs reduce the draw time of the program?"

my machine meets the lowest of the minimum requirements.
the major stumbling block is my processor, the program calls for a 1.8 ghz athlon and i have a 1.8 ghz sempron.
