Our Dell Studio 1737 suddenly won't boot. We have tried a disc repair but this failed. The error message is

    File:\windows\windows32\drivers\ndis.sys

    status: OxcOOOOOe9

Info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing or corrupt.

Will it be possible to repair this using the COMMAND PROMPT ?

I'm not very experienced at this sort of thing, but any help would be gratefully received.

Many thanks to anyone who replies.

We've solved this problem by copying the ndis.sys from another Dell laptop. Hurrah!
