Need A Stylus For Acer T232hl Touchscreen Monitor

Can anyone advise me what type of stylus will work with an Acer T232HL Monitor please? I'm not looking for anything sophisticated, would rather just use a stylus than oily fingertips to navigate around the touch screen.

Pretty sure any will do. I say pick one that feels comfortable in your hand. Visit the electronics accessories departments at BestBuy or Walmart. I have a Targus I use on my tablet.

 

ok, thanks very much....seems like a pretty simple question, but the stylus for my Surface Pro 3 doesn't work on the Acer, so this whole thing is pretty mysterious to me!! Thanks again.

 

I sometimes use it on my phone and have found it does not work sometimes if the screen is dirty.

 

I have two Android tablets. I bought several styluses at a Dollar Tree store for $1 each. They work fine on a tablet. I don't own a touchscreen monitor so no way to test but it would be worth $1 to see if one works.

I keep one in my purse and a spare one in each of our cars so if I have a tablet with me, I always have a stylus handy.

 

Make sure it's the right type of stylus — capacitive or resistive.

 

So the styluses with the soft rubber end should work on your unit. This is the kind that most phones and tablets use.

Apparently the stylus for the Surface Pro 3 is not capacitive or resistive.
"Surface Pen is a third type, called an active capacitive pen, and is similar to the technology used on Microsoft's Perceptive Pixel displays. An active capacitive pen requires batteries".
