Need Advice For Soundcard !!!

So i decided to finaly upgrade my soundcard i have a Soundblaster 128 i think it's over 8 years olds...

So what is a good soundcard that run well with XP Pro SP3 and will get windows 7 when it come out in october.....

I think i will like to stay with creative....

My system:

Intel® Desktop Board DP43TF
Processor Q9650
2 GIGS RAM 800 mhz
250 GIGS SATA harddisk
Geforce 7800 GT
Soundblaster 128 time for a change !!!!!

The price nothing over $250.00 and the most compatible,so it's NOT crashing windows every 5 minutes !!!

actually the link i gave might be overkill, and over priced. the cheaper xfi would be fine too.
