Need Drivers/other devices

I installed windows XP home edition on my Laptop (Dell Inspiron 1501)
In Device Manager I see:
? other devices
? Base System Device
? Ethernet Controler
? Network Controler
? PCI Device
? PCI Device
? SM Bus Controler
? Video Controler (VGA Compatible)

I can not log onto the intenet with my lap top
I used the CD's from my home PC to install XP on my lap top

can anyone help??

 

You need to find the make and model number of your laptop,go to their support page and download the drivers onto the computer you used to post this thread,save the driver files onto some kind of removable storage,USB memory stick being the preferred option but you can also burn them to a CD or DVD then insert or connect to your laptop and install.

If your having trouble finding the driver support page and/or your drivers post the make,model and S/N number in your next post and I'll try and help.
