need freeware to increase volume at which music files play

    i have some music files that dont play very loud on my mp3 player even at its max volume so i was wondering if there is freeware that will allow me to change the volume at which the file plays?

    all help apreciated tyvm in advance

    you can try audacity to increase the volume of an mp3

    what software do you use to sync to the player? i think there's a way to tweak volume in windows media player when syncing to an mp3 player.

    the player doesnt sync right the firmwares trying to go but i cant find new copy just my luck....

    and iv used audacity befor and didnt care for it

    Hi, you don't mention here what you use for listening music. i.e. Your speaker system. I'm using SRS Audio sandbox. Its really working good and can amplify audio output as double.
