I just got a monitor for my pc, newer than the one I had. It is a LCD 2004 Sceptre X5 as far as I can tell. I was hoping that I could update my drivers for it so that it will run at optimal level. It will most likely not run over 1024 x 768, but I was really hoping to get 1280 x 1024 anyway. I can't seem to find anything online to update my drivers. I am running winxp, perhaps I can't do any more than I have already... Any suggestions?

    Hi Goodfortitude,

Perhaps you need a better/different video card?

If all else fails look for the highest standard "standard" monitor in the device list. More than likely it will cover your monitor pretty well. The advantage is it will allow you to experiment with various settings, if one doesn't work then don't touch the keyboard, it will time out and default back to the previous setting.
