I currently have SUSE Linux 10.0 installed on a laptop. It is running just fine but I need to switch to Windows XP. When I try to boot from the Windows disk it just goes to a black screen and stays there. I think that I need to reformat the hard drive into a format system that windows understands, but I have no idea how to go about it. I also have the 5 Linux CDs if I need them. Please help.

I formatted the HDD with partition logic and I was able to install windows with no problems. Thanks a lot for the help.
