I've ran about everything I can find, and nothing can seem to figure out what is causing all of these browser redirects on search pages (can't use links on google, but I can on google groups...go figure).

I had a mass mailing virus and several other problems recently, and want to clean this up once and for all...

Edit by bjgarrick: Unrequested, Inline HJT log removed!

    Hope someone can help

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps below:

    - Download HijackThis 1.99.1

    - Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

    - Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

    - Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

    - Run HijackThis and save your log file.

    - Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next message. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).

Sorry about the breach of etiquette, just frustrated from other things that happened today.

I ran the newest update of the following: CWShredder, Ad-Aware, Spybot, Norton Antivirus, TrendMicro's HouseCall, and AVG and they found various things (this was a few days ago, and I didn't write down what they found...i thought the problem was fixed). Now, I'm just getting redirected to various sites (like ebay) whenever I search for things using google.

I see no evidence in your HJT log that you ran any of the on-line scans requested in our sticky.

Also you are running more than one Anti-Virus program. Pick one uninstall the other. Also I see no evidence that you are using a firewall.

Your OS is seriously out-of-date, and represents a serious security risk. It appears to be a completely unpatched system.
