Need Help with cd opening and closing

by it's self.......uggg...why would it do that ...It just started opening and closing by it's self....I've ran 3 virus scan's that found nothing. I've ran my Ad-Adware and removed what it found...It's never done this before and i don't even know if i'm posting in the right place...my first thought was i had a virus but after doing the scans and finding nothing...I don't know. I have an HP computer with the CD 's slot in the tower and the top one is the one that keep's doing this...It will stop for a bit but then starts up again. I don't know what to do!

I had the same problem, it was hardware related for me..

 

and what....what did you do?
