Hello... I need help with my Western Digital Ultra2 LVD SCSI 10 gig hard drive... I want to use it as a slave drive... but not sure how to do it... since it has a pci interface... I thought it was the jumper but i tried the jumper on all five :::::

The jumpers on the drive itself, should only affect which scsi ID it is using.

Your Bios should state what drive is the primary boot drive.

Unless you have other drives on the controller.

I have a regular IDE on the first controller 40g. Which is my primary HD.... I actually just want it to be used for more storage... So do I have to update the bios for the HD?
