need jpeg software for lennox...help

I was recently given a eepc which has lennox as its operating system. my wife keeps sending me picture text messages from her phone and I have no way of altering their side way appearance. I would appreciate if someone could help. I am normally a xp user but I must say that lennox is quicker and have yet to have a freeze or crash!

do you have any difficulty finding software for lennox?

 

Welcome to MajorGeeks! I don't use the penguin OS very much these days. There are several versions of Linux, you should post the one you are using, as the installation method may be a little different. You could try the 'Gimp' program. Nice free open source photo editor.

 

What model eeepc? If it is a 2G, then it is too small to install Gimp.
The OS is called Xandros and it is linux not lennox.

 

You should be able to view jpg images on Gwenview according to this page.
