    Hi All,

I have Win 7 Professional (64 bit) and have a config program that needs to broadcast UDP packets via the LAN connection.

It has never worked on Win 7, I fired up wireshark on XP (where it works) and found to broadcasts 255.255.255.255 UDP, tried on Win 7 ... Zip

Did some digging and found that win 7 only transmits broadcasts on one selected interface so rather awkwardly I disabled the other interfaces ie my virtualbox and wireless, tried it again and the program works :)

This workaround is not a practical solution for me, is there any way to make Win 7 always use the LAN connection for broadcasts ?

I am on the limit of my knowledge here, so any help really appreciated

    Many Thanks
