Need to stop incomplete installation recurring at startup

I am at my wits end with a recurring dialogue box which says: The installation package for SolutionCentre.msi could not be found. Do you want to reverse changes made by user <whoever last used their profile on the PC>. I found that opening task manager and killing the msiexec process stops the dialogue box. I have scanned the PC for malware with everything known to man. All scans come back as clean. I have also checked startup items using CCleaner. nothing suspicious there.

I am now of the opinion that the process is initiated via a registry key. However, I am not a registry guru. has anyone had this SolutionCentre problem? Can anyone explain how to find a registry entry that loads at startup.:cry

Download and run the MS clean up utility from here ... http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

Once oyu run it a window will pop up with a list of items, look for anything called "solution center"

If you find it, highlight it and and click remove.

Do not remove anything other than solution center!
