Nero 6 from Nero 5.5 Can't read DVD+rw

    Used Nero 5.5 to burn backup data to a DVD+RW. Moved to Nero 6 and could not read any DVD or CD RW. Installed the Roxio UDF driver and can now read CD-RW that were produced with Easy 5 Plat.
    Can not read the DVD+RW that was produced with Nero 5.5.

    HELP!

    Hi cyclone Roxio and Nero should not be used on the same computer as conflicts often happen.Personally i would remove roxio and then make sure you have the latest updates for Nero.Which can be found here

    Thank you for the response. Have updated to Nero 6 Ultra and InCD 4072.

    On the same issue, it seems that my DVD writer drive is only being recognized as a CD writer. InCD also looks at the drive and only formats CD-RW with DVD+RW not being recognized either.

    Any thoughts on a fix?

    Hi cyclone Look in the properties of your DVD drive to make sure the relevant boxes are ticked.Also check in device manager to make sure all the correct boxes are ticked in there and that no faults are showing
