netscape and earthlink are these programs safe to remove

i have netscape and earthlink on my computer i dont think there actually installed and i don t need these internet services cause i use cox high speed internet so i need to know if i can safely remove thse folders and everything inside without harming my laptop computer

i know this is a silly question but im a computer dummy and i dont know whats safe to remove and whats not safe to remove

can anyone help me oh and thanks in advance

 

Go to the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel. If those programs aren't listed, then those are just icons that can be deleted. If they are listed, use the Add/Remove to get rid of them. If they aren't listed, you can just delete the icons - clidk the icon to highlight it then press the Delete key. You might want to see what the icons point to in the Right Click > Properties of each icon and delete whatever the icon points to (called the Target) as well (probably some sort of setup or install program).

no niether of them is in my add/remove programs thier just folders and the netscape stuff is in the netscape folder and the earthlink setup thing is in the earthlink folder in my program files

 

Just delete the folders and the icons!
