Hi. I think I have been hijacked by about:blank. I am following the instructions in the "Read me first" post, and I have a question. When I do step #2, (run services.msc) I see something called Network Security Service (NSS) in the Services window. Is this the one I am supposed to get rid of? I know this may sound like a dumb question, but the instruction say to only disable it if the name matches exactly, and mine has the (NSS) following it.

    Thanks!

PS: I have Spy Sweeper running and Norton and I have scanned repeatedly with both AdAware and Spybot--how could I have gotten this dumb thing??

Yes! That is the service you must stop and then disable. After doing that, complete all remaining steps. Make sure you run HSremove and About:Buster as indicated in the steps. After running About:Buster, reboot immediately before doing anything else.
