Network Settings Error

    When I go to the Control Panel and open up Network Connections and go to properties there is only one thing under the "Connection uses the following items" section. It is Client for Microsoft Networks. Obviously there is more installed or nothing would be functioning correctly. When I go to install more it gives me the message "Could not add the requested component. The error is: The system could not find the file specified." How do I get it back to normal?
