Networking Permission Errors

I cant access the print server from my terminal. We are connected to a home group and wirelessly connected. Im the only one in the network who cant access the print server.

 

First thing, what is the make & model of the printer. Second, what OS is the computer running that is acting as Print server, is there a Firewall running on that computer or Internet security software?

Also I and others personally hate Microsoft's way of thinking that Homegroup made things easier for Windows 7 & 8 computers, when it actually didn't. First thing I do on any computer on our network with Win 7 or 8, is turn off Homegroup, and turn off the built in firewall, since it is not needed for a Private LAN.

If you have a decent router, it will have a good enough firewall to serve the purpose that it was designed, and also allow the end user to tighten up policies as needed.

There were no issue before, I can access the printer and other laptops on my homegroup. It's we transferred new office. I cant access them anymore.

 

What do you mean that Network security/Firewall is secured by Anti-Virus? Also what do you mean by "we transferred new office"? Did you relocate to a new work location? If that is the case, was the networking equipment the same, same ISP, same router?

I would first start by turning off any firewall, use Windows 7 Firewall. Second turn off Home Group. Like I stated before, worse thing Microsoft ever came up with, next to Windows 8.
