New Folder Option broken

I have been trying to create new folders and it seems that it is now broken.

I ran a Scannow and it found nothing wrong.

 

There's no "New" and submenu in the right click context menu when you right click on an open area?

 

I think some more info would be helpful. What version of Windows? Are you talking about Windows Explorer or what? In other words, exactly where are you when you want to create new folders?

 

Forgot lol brain is fried right now.Windows 7 and no i get no errors when i click on it.

No when i got to like Documents and try clicking on the new folder tab at the top it will not create any.

Backup your registry or create a restore point first and reboot after merging the registry file.

 

Can you post a screen capture of the window where you click on the New Folder button and it does not work? It might be helpful.

The Tab option should be able to make a new Tab.But it does not for some reason.

 

I have ran a serious of test.None have worked and then i searched threw the internet for weeks and found this.

I have come up with an idea and fixed my own problem.My new folder option is now working again.Keep this on your flash drive just in case it breaks again.

This is only for windows 7 New Folder option breaking.

[FONT=&quot]4. Type in NewFolder.reg as the file name, select to save the file on the Desktop. Click Save.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]5. Go to the Desktop, and double click NewFolder.reg. A dialog box will pop-up saying "Are you sure you want to add the information in fix.reg to the registry?". Click Yes to confirm.

Oh and ignore that message after the confirm just try to click on the new folder option to see if it works.

Warning about this post below this will fix the Broken New folder option yes but the malwarebytes will pick it up as a bug but its not it is just a fake.This is right from the microsoft site from an admin person.
