New Internet Speed Test

Most people probably use http://www.speedtest.net/ to test their internet download and upload speeds.
It's been around for quite a while and is most recommended.

Now there is an alternative that works much faster and gives about the same results.
It's a new feature added to Bing Search.
Just enter any of the following:

I like thinkbroadband.com as you can build up a profile of your speeds over time. I've cut the IP addresses and ISP info. I'll be testing this again in a couple of days as we are moving to a new ISP with FTTH who is promising min 50.

 

My preference also, Earthling, good to have some real data over time. I've also been running a Whitebox for a few years.

I use dslreports' speedtest more now. No java needed.

I think these test are inaccurate.

The one that Imandy provided is more accurate than the other two.

I know my speed is slow. It scores me F overall.
