new mobo plz suggest!!!

hellol all, ive been thinking about upgrading my mobo
any suggestions??
ive really been thinking about a athlon xp, at least a 2200+
any suggestions? ive kinda got a low budget
by the way, i live in canada and id like to overclock it at least by 5%

i really meant 1500+ to whatever .. i really dont have much cash, and im planing on keeping my old parts to put bak in

Keep in mind that when you upgrade your processor and motherboard, you will have to upgrade your memory as well.

Take a look in the overclocking forum. There is a thread in there where ACE explains a good Anthlon for over clocking. It might be a 1500+ that was running around a 2200. Not to sure about that. I might just take a look for it to.

That board isnt bad. It does have on board video, which is an upgrade from your 8MB.

The best chipset you can get for an Athlon is the nForce 2 chipset. Especially if you low on budget you can get the IGP. It has an integrated Geforce 4 MX 4000. I've seen several microatx versions of it for around $70. For instance this MSI is a very nice board i've used in a few computers i've built. MSI Nforce 2 Board

It has everything you need onboard. Sound, ethernet, video, and it's microatx incase you use a small case. IMHO this is probably the best you can get for a Athlon at a cheap price.
