New Monitor Slow Mouse

    I just got a new monitor and for some reason my mouse has been acting slow.
    • I've already made sure I have all the updated drivers for my graphics card.
    • I've already made sure I have the correct chipset for my board.
    • I have already increased the mouse speed via control panel>mouse>motion
    I'm running a Compaq Presario S6030NX

    and i just bought this monitor

    with an intellimouse 1.1a; no USB

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
